In 2002, after a career as professional photographers in Belgium, my wife and I decided to follow a new path in life. Our passion for nature photography and travel led us to beautiful New Zealand.
The friendliness of the locals and the impressive nature immediately left a deep impression on us. It was love at first sight and the beginning of a long and passionate relationship with this country!
Together with our hunger for small-scale tourism, this quickly led to the establishment of our own travel organization Nieuw-Zeeland Huis in which we were able to unite our two greatest loves.

As New Zealand enthusiasts, we spare no effort to get to know this country better and to discover the most hidden natural gems. Both of us are in our fifties, true nature lovers and enthusiastic hikers and cyclists.
The base for our explorations is our real New Zealand house & office that we built 20 years ago in Golden Bay at the top of the South Island. This is still the beating heart of our travel company, but also the place where we welcome and can accommodate you with great hospitality during your visit to the stunning Abel Tasman National Park.
